A General Power of Attorney enables the applicant to authorize someone to act on behalf of them in Palestine.
Note: Selling or registering the sale of land or real-estate is excluded from the provisions of this power of attorney.
The person who intends to give a General power of Attorney has to provide the following documents:
Copy of your Palestinian passport and the Palestinian identity card.
Copy of your Canadian permanent residence or the Canadian passport/citizenship.
Proof of address.
Fees: CAD $50 in form of a money order made out to the Palestinian General Delegation.
The application can be submitted:
In person at the Palestinian General Delegation in Ottawa by scheduling an appointment.
By scheduling an appointment with one of our approved signers then sending it by mail.
Documents sent by mail must be signed in front of and notarized by one of our approved notaries. Any paper notarized by someone outside the list will need to be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ottawa.
*A pre-paid registered return envelope must be included. (Keep the tracking number for reference.)
