With Special Power of Attorney, the applicant gives someone the power to act on their behalf, in order to perform a specific task. .
The person who intends to give a special power of Attorney has to provide the following documents:
Any text for special power of attorney must be typed (not handwritten). It must include the name and ID of the applicant as well as the name and ID of the person you are giving the power to. At the bottom of the text the following sentence must be added (يستثنى من احكام هذه الوكالة بيع و فراغ و تنازل عن أي عقار أو أموال غير منقولة )
Copy of your Palestinian passport of Palestinian identity card.
Copy of your Canadian permanent residence or the Canadian passport/citizenship
Proof of address, or a copy of driving license
Fees: CAD $50 in form of a money order made out to the Palestinian General Delegation
The application can be submitted:
In person at the Palestinian General Delegation in Ottawa by scheduling an appointment.
By scheduling an appointment with one of our approved signers then sending it by mail.
Documents sent by mail must be signed in front of and notarized by one of our approved notaries. Any paper notarized by someone outside the list will need to be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ottawa.
